Michel Benoit MD FRCS(c)

Dr. Benoit is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Clinical Operation of the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. He is Director of the Hand and Upper Extremity service. After graduating from medical school at the University of Montréal QC, he completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at University of Ottawa, ON, followed by 2 years of fellowship training in Hand in Upper extremity surgery, in Ottawa ON and Syracuse NY. He has a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in hand surgery. He serves as Orthopaedic team physician for University of Vermont and has worked as a volunteer at the Sugarbush ski clinic for over 20 years. He enjoys skiing and plays hockey year around.
